Bible Theatre explores Scripture through the performing arts. Students will learn to present Scripture with authenticity, understanding, and conviction as they develop oral interpretation skills through expressive reading and dramatic presentation of selected Psalms, Proverbs, and parables. Students will then step into the role of a biblical figure by examining their experiences, motivations, relationships, and faith before writing, rehearsing, and presenting an original first-person monologue. Through instructor coaching and thoughtful peer feedback, students will refine their performances, encourage one another's growth, and deepen their understanding of Scripture in a supportive, collaborative environment.
