The Time Jester’s Box

About the play:

Join the curator of The Time Museum on a hilarious and somewhat musical romp through the space-time continuum, where a mischievous Time Lord, known as the “Time Jester” is wreaking havoc everywhere he goes.  Will the Time Council come up with a strategy to stop the Time Jester in his tracks? Or will the Time Jester’s Fan Club successfully aid him in commandeering the past, present and future of human existence?

Eligibility:

Auditions are open to students ages 10 and up.  9 year olds who are currently enrolled in theatre classes and/or participated in the play last year are also eligible to join in on the fun.  

Completion of Theatre Bootcamp and/or Theatre 101 is required to participate in a production. Please reach out for exceptions (exceptions may include students with extensive experience outside of Outta Theatre).

We have room for a maximum of 10 more students in the cast (in addition to the Training Guild members).  Registration will remain open until November 1 or until those 10 spots are claimed – whichever comes first.

Audition instructions

SCHEDULE:

  • First rehearsal is November 17 with casting announcement, cold reading of entire script, with foundational technique & cast bonding activities - this is for FULL cast.

  • Schedule varies based on scenes the student is cast in.

  • Most rehearsals will be Tuesdays and Thursdays between 4:00 PM-8:00 PM.

  • There may be a few added rehearsals, based on student availability.

  • Cast Party: March 2 4-8 PM

Mandatory tech and dress rehearsals:

  • February 11 4-8 PM

  • February 13 9:30 AM-3:30 PM

  • February 16 4-8 PM

  • February 18 4-8 PM

  • February 23 4-8 PM

  • February 25 4-8 PM

PERFORMANCES

  • February 26 7 PM

  • February 27 2 PM and 6 PM

FEES:

  • There is one all-inclusive fee (This include t-shirt, possible one-on-one coaching as needed)

  • Payment options:

    • $50 plus complete calendar fundraiser by January 4

    • $480 and no fundraising or 3 payments of $160 due November, December, January
